If you’re just starting out with learning a foreign language, learning the 100 most common words first is a total no-brainer. Personally, I find the 80/20 rule very useful, also known as the Pareto Principle.
If you haven’t heard of it, the basic idea is that 80% of your results come from just 20% of your input. It means that a relatively small portion of your vocabulary (around 20%) is used most frequently in conversations (about 80% of the time).
I’ve been working on a list with the 100 most common spanish words to share with you. It’s the language I’ve been fortunate to learn and study over the years. Luckily, the idea behind this list of the 100 most used spanish words is simple. Figure out what’s useful and used most often so you can focus on that first to improve your Spanish faster.
