Every month, I publish an answer to a reader’s question. Here’s a transcript of my answer to the reader question about my newsletter.
Hi Lisanne, what do you enjoy most about your [tiny bits] newsletter?
I love my newsletter because it’s uniquely mine— a curated selection of everything I love, all wrapped up in one place. I hope these small pieces feel like hidden gems to you, little treasures you won’t find just anywhere. There’s so much insightful stuff out there that just needs to be discovered, and through my newsletter I just love to bring it to people’s attention.
The Tiny Bits Newsletter is in many ways a personal gift from me to you. It offers readers a glimpse inside my mind including everything from what I love to read, to what I recommend watching, or what I’m learning about. I often tend to crave towards timely and timeless stories that provoke thought and conversation.
In the digital space, however, it’s often the number of clicks that determines what gets seen and noticed. With so much content vying for attention, those clicks can make all the difference in what rises to the forefront and captures public interest. It’s more challenging for thoughtful content to make it to the top of the search engines, as timely and timeless stories may not attract as much interaction as newer content.
However, it’s an incredibly fulfilling task to create something driven purely by personal interest and then bring it to people’s attention. In the newsletter, I offer simple insights and reflections that I need in my own life, and can also touch others. I hope this corner of the internet makes you feel curious, inspired, and encouraged to start a conversation.
