Q&A: Which personality trait do I root for in others?

Every month, I publish an answer to a reader’s question. Here’s a transcript of my answer to one of my favorite readers’ questions:

Hi Lisanne, my question is What is the personality trait you root for in others?

I want everyone to be the best version of themselves. After all, getting to spend your time with people you love, doing things that you love, might be the biggest privilege a person can have. I root for people who are trying to make that happen for themselves. Many great screenplays and books started with a single idea that was far from close to the final product. It’s easy to judge, especially in that early stage. Yet, everything starts with an idea or dream, and then someone tries to bring that to life. Dreaming is free. Trying is oftentimes free. Everyone can do it. I genuinely encourage those that put action behind their words.
